Aphrodite
Type: MLV.
Payload to 100km orbit: 10-35 tons.
Member in charge of project: POTKC.
Status: Making textures.
Variants
Second Stage
There are four Second Stage variants:
Payload
There are 5 different payload configurations: The Athena CTV (Designated 'A'), the Athena CTV with a secondary payload, e.g. a satellite, user it (Designated 'S'), the Athena CTV with a third stage to lift it into a higher orbit (Designated 'T'), and an advanced version of the Athena CTV with a Lunar Lander (Designated 'M'). An unmanned cargo launch is also possible (This version is designated 'C').
Classification System
Second Stage-to-Payload Compatibility
The 'A' payload can be launched by Second Stage variant 1, the 'S' payload by variant 1 or 2 (Depending on the mass of the secondary payload), the 'T' payload by variant 3 and the 'M' payload by variant 4. The 'C' payload can be launched by any of the Second Stage variants (This depends on the mass of the payload).
Suffixes
The Aphrodite's full designation is the Aphrodite MLV. To show in what configuration a specific rocket is launched, a suffix system has been devised by myself. First comes the Second Stage variant, and then the payload configuration. For example, if you are launching an unmanned cargo using the 1st Second Stage variant, you take the variant number, which is 1, then put the payload designation, which is 'C', behind it, and end up with 1C. This suffix is added to the Launch Vehicle Designation, or LVD, to form Aphrodite MLV-1C. Thus, the possible suffixes are as follows:
